Turkey Tostada Bake
*pics & details in "my stomach vs the rain"

1lb ground turkey
1/2c cheese (I used extra sharp cheddar)
1 package Taco Seasoning
1/2c medium chunky salsa
1/2c hot chunky salsa
1 package butter flake Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

Directions:
Pre-heat your oven to about 375.
Spray your baking dish w/non stick spray. I used the one for baking.
Roll out the crescent rolls into your dish.

Add the ground turkey to your skillet and mix in the taco seasoning.
(I don't add water like the package instructs you to do)

While the ground turkey is browning, shred about 1/2 cup of cheese.
Sprinkle half of the cheese over the crescent rolls.

Once the ground turkey is brown, turn off the heat and add both types of salsa to the ground turkey.
Spread the turkey mixture over the crescent rolls and cheese.

Then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the entire dish and bake.

I left mine in until I could see the sides and bottom had browned.
(Another reason I choose this pan- I can see the bottom).
This recipe is pretty spicy! I would serve with spanish rice & refried beans.

Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes - then devour!

Honey Lemonade

6 lemons
2c honey
2c hot water
8c cold water

Directions:
Cut the lemons in half and squeeze the juice into a separate container.
Strain the juice. (I like to use an electric powered citrus juicer)

Pour 2cups of hot water into a saucepan.
Add the 2cups of honey.
Heat on high until honey has blended completely in water.
Add the lemon juice and remove from heat.

Pour lemon juice/honey mixture into your pitcher and add 8cups of cold water.

Now enjoy!!

*I found many recipes that add sugar, but I found increasing the honey amount was more than adequate for us. My husband LOVES this stuff and I swear he tries to drink it all in one day.*

Cinnamon Raisin Bread (Betty Crocker)

1c water
2tbsp butter or margarine, softened
3c bread flour
3tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast
3/4c raisins

Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except raisins in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Add raisins at the Raisin/Nut signal or 5 to 10 minutes before last kneading cycle ends.

Jalapeño Bread

1 1/8c warm water
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp white sugar
1/4c pepper jack cheese (chopped into small squares)
1/4c sharp cheddar cheese (chopped into small squares)
3 jalapeño peppers chopped
3c bread flour
1/2 tsp bread machine yeast

Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except cheese in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Add cheese at the additional ingredients signal or 5 to 10 minutes before last kneading cycle ends. Otherwise, the cheese melts into the entire loaf.
*This was too big for my machine. Next time I'll reduce the amount of the ingredients. The center sunk a bit.

Chicken Marsala

I actually followed the directions on the package this time. I doubled the ingredients since I doubled the amount of chicken recommended per package. Also, before cooking chicken, I seasoned to taste with seasoned salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. I'll just include pictures for your enjoyment!
